Talking about taboo subjects at Triveni Sangam celebration

It was enthralling. It was colourful. It was wonderful. It would be when a group of over 500 ladies celebrate their annual event. I was invited to speak about my work and life at the Navnat Vanik Bhagini Samaj Celebration: Triveni Sangam. 

Whilst I presented some work on prostate cancer, the key speech was on the other taboo subject for many – ‘incontinence’ and why we need to be more open about it. 

I am most grateful to ‘Confitex‘ and ‘Imedicare‘ for providing samples of underwear for the event – it made a real difference for people to understand and appreciate that there is help available in dealing with this taboo subject. Such support is most appreciated.
